"Hello! My name is Lisa Poole. I believe that sharing a glass of wine enables people to connect in a very special way.  It encourages us to linger over meals around the family table and enjoy conversation again in a much too hurried world.  My husband, Dan, and I started The Vine Intervention because of our passion for wine and because we are educators by nature.  Our goal is to share our passion for wine with others and to make the world of wine understandable and accessible to any who are interested in learning in a fun and relaxed environment."  

Lisa has achieved her Specialist of Wine Certification (CSW) through the United States Society of Wine Educators. She is a published food critic and wine travel writer.  In addition to conducting many wine seminars, she consults with restaurants in areas of general customer service, wine selections & wine etiquette. 

Additionally, Lisa is the Director of Training for Global Wines Distribution headquartered in Raleigh, NC.  Global's focus is on small production, boutique wines with an emphasis on South American winemakers.
